Why did you join aKDPhi? Growing up I was never around people of the race, ethnicity, and culture like I was. I was always different from everyone else. Coming into college, it was even more real and prominent which made it more difficult especially when I'm away from family now. After meeting some sxsters, I knew aKDPhi was for me. They were the community I was seeking from the very beginning.
How has your time in aKDPhi helped/improved/challenged you? aKDPhi has challenged me to be more outspoken and more confident in myself even if I am the only Chinese womxn in the room. They have taught me to embrace everything about me. aKDPhi have pushed me out of my comfort zone which has helped me grow to become the strong, fearless womxn I am today.
Positions Held in aKDPhi: Webmistress (Spring 2019), Alumnae Chair (Fall 2019 - Spring 2020)
