Why did you join aKDPhi?

I joined aKDPhi because I wanted to find a completely new community than the one I have had for many years. I wanted to do something new and wanted to join an organization that could push me and change me.

How has your time in aKDPhi helped/improved/challenged you?

Although speaking up is something I am still working on, I have seen small growth with in myself with being more vocal. Being assertive is something that has always been difficult for me, but because we have to pick up a position it allows me to take lead and responsibilities when it comes to planning events for my position, and delegating tasks. This is something I am also still learning throughout my time of being active.

Positions Held in aKDPhi: Co-Historian (Spring 2018), Fundraising Chair (Fall 2018)

Affiliates & Positions Held: Rheta's- Team Worker (Spring 2018), Oakwood Rehabilitation Center - CNA (Fall 2018)
