Why did you join aKDPhi?
As a freshmen, I wanted to find a close net of connections on campus where I could feel like my most authentic and best self. I also wanted to discover more about who I really am and to test my capabilities. I was drawn by aKDPhi’s safe-loving environment and its siblings who made me feel so welcomed. Since my time in aKDPhi, I’ve grown so much professionally and academically. I’ve learned to do things with great intention and that it’s okay to be vulnerable. I’m excited for the friendships I’ll experience in the future and how I can continue to grow!
How has your time in aKDPhi helped/improved/challenged you?
aKDPhi has helped me grow professionally such as learning how to work with different communication/leadership styles and how to prioritize. aKDPhi has also challenged me step out of my comfort zone to take initiative. Lastly, it has helped me improve my communication skills and strengthen the bonds I create with those around me.
