Why did you join aKDPhi?

During the pandemic, I was searching for opportunities where I can be challenged and grow to be my best self. aKDPhi became that place full of opportunities and  I knew that I wanted to surround myself with empowering women such as those in aKDPhi.

How has your time in aKDPhi helped/improved/challenged you?

aKDPhi has challenged my leadership style. I felt more like a passive leader previously but I have learned that in order to move forward promptly with tasks, I have to put my foot down, set a schedule and actually follow through with that schedule. In addition, I have gained more confidence in my identity and my ideas/opinions/decisions. Contribution and effort is important in group settings so its important to speak your mind because what you have to say is valuable and may be a gamechanger.
